The 271 apartment mixed use development comprises studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments many of which benefit from a balcony or terrace as well as use of a communal eco-garden. Vermilion has Rathbone Market on its doorstep, one of the East Ends oldest markets, whilst being just minutes from Canary Wharf, Stratford City, the O2 Arena and major transport links across the city and beyond.
By consolidating all of the individual contracts for the Communal Heating System and associated plant Trinity have managed to save approximately 30% in costs. This has also enabled us to have tighter control and the better understanding of the working nature of the system, allowing us to react in a more positive nature to any heating issues.
Trinity introduced 24hr on-site presence 7 days a week. This was achieved by introducing caretakers from 7am – 7pm who replaced cleaners which only visited twice a week. Along with that we appointed security guards from 7pm – 7am. This have a very positive impact on reducing the volume of antisocial behaviour within the development.
The allotments built specifically for use by residents at Rathbone Market were not used. By reviewing the dimensions of each allotment plot and also reducing the annual rental fee we have been able to secure a more positive take up of this benefit which was warmly welcomed by the residents.
