There is a problem with my property and I don't know who is responsible to fix it?
It can sometimes be confusing knowing who is responsible for certain pieces of equipment or parts of your property. We often receive calls about faulty intercoms, SKY TV, water leaks from apartments etc. Your lease will generally state that you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment or property that is solely for your use. Trinity would generally be responsible for the upkeep of the communal equipment. In certain situations, the responsibility for the repair is not clear, and would need a contractor to attend site to investigate and let us know.
We can instruct a contractor to attend, inspect and advise us on the source of the problem. If the issue is communal they will be given an instruction to repair and the costs will be covered by your development's service charge. If the fault is found to be your responsibility, you will be advised and you can make a decision how you would like to proceed. In this scenario, you would also be responsible for the call-out charge for the contractor.
