Trinity Estates – Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Trinity Estates uses cookies and similar technologies on www.trinityestates.com, what they do and how you can manage them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data and how to contact us about your rights.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can remember choices or help measure how a website is used. Some last only for a browsing session; others remain until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies include session storage, which stores information for a browser tab or session.
Cookies set on our domain are called first-party cookies. External services used by the website may also store or access information on their own domains.
2. Managing your choices
When the consent banner appears, you can choose Allow all, Disable all, or More options to select categories. Necessary technologies support essential functions such as remembering your choices and protecting forms.
You can change or withdraw your choices using My Consent Preferences on the website. Choose the categories you want and select Confirm my choices, or use Disable all to turn off optional categories. Your choices apply to that browser and device; you may need to choose again if you use another browser or clear its data.
Rejecting Analytics cookies does not stop every request to Google. Our current Google Analytics configuration can send limited measurements without Analytics cookies before you make a choice and after you reject or withdraw consent. These requests can include the page visited, technical information about your browser or device, and your consent state. See section 4 below.
Withdrawing consent changes the consent setting but may leave cookies previously stored on your device. To remove them, use your browser’s cookie or site-data controls. Clearing our preference cookies also removes the choices we have remembered, so the banner may appear again. Blocking security or other necessary technologies may affect website features, including forms.
3. Remembering your consent choices
We use ConsentMagic to display the banner and remember your cookie choices. The following first-party cookies are set on www.trinityestates.com. They are used to manage consent, including storing a refusal.

A category preference cookie can exist even if no service in that category is active on the page you visit. Its presence does not itself mean that advertising or video tracking has occurred.
4. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, including pages visited and interactions such as scrolling, downloads and links followed. Google Tag Manager loads and manages the Analytics tag.
When you allow Analytics cookies, Google Analytics can use the following first-party cookies on .trinityestates.com:

Our current setup uses Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, or when Analytics consent is denied, Google can receive cookieless measurements for basic measurement and modelling. Allowing Analytics cookies enables cookie-based measurement; withdrawing consent returns Analytics to denied mode. These cookieless measurements may still involve personal data.

5. Protecting the contact form
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish people from automated activity and protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA resources load on the contact page before an optional cookie choice and remain available after optional categories are disabled.
Google states that reCAPTCHA sets a cookie named _GRECAPTCHA when it runs its risk analysis. What is stored also depends on your browser settings and interaction with the service. Its expiry was not verified in our latest browser check, so it is not included in the measured cookie-duration tables above. 6. Other website technologies and external services
WordPress uses session storage named wpEmojiSettingsSupports to remember whether your browser can display certain emoji characters. This is a browser-session item, rather than a persistent Analytics cookie.
The website also requests fonts and JavaScript libraries from Google-hosted services. These requests can disclose technical information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the service provider. Loading an external resource does not necessarily mean that a cookie is stored.
Links to residents’ portals and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy and cookie information. Your choices on this website do not automatically apply to those services.
7. Cookie lifetimes and updates
The tables reflect our website configuration and browser checks on the date shown above. Expiry dates may be refreshed when you revisit the website or change your choices, and browsers may impose shorter limits. We will review this policy when our use of these technologies changes.
